QSP Hedgehog Knife QS142-B Denim Blue Micarta 14C28N Steel

Personally I’m a big fan of all knives and have an extensive collection of traditional and modern folders. Modern slipjoints made with quality parts will always grab my attention. This knife is a perfect 10 for fit, finish, with excellent walk and talk. Perfect flush back spring, even at the half stop. The micarta is done leaving just a bit of texture without being polished smooth. 14c28n is personally on my favorite list as it’s tough with reasonable edge retention and very easy to hone on ceramic or strop. The hollow grind makes the knife glide through cuts and I particularly like the tip. Sheep’s foot blade’s usually aren’t very poky, the little sweep at the tip is a nice addition. I really do hope they make more modern slipjoints, this one seems to always be in my pocket.
