Return Policy
Return of items from C. Risner Cutlery will ONLY be accepted based on the following criteria:
1. Return Timeframe: Returns are easy, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, the return must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the item(s) for refund or in-store credit. The original shipping charge from when you purchased the item will not be refunded. If your order qualified for free shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
2. Condition of Item(s): The item(s) must be returned in its original condition, including ALL packaging, accessories, and documentation. The item(s) must not be used in any way which includes sharpening, scratches on the blade(s), handles, bolsters, backspring, etc. Any signs of use, damage, or alteration may disqualify the return. It is crucial that the product is not tampered with and remains in a resalable condition. If your order included a promotional item that was only eligible with the purchase of the returned item(s), the promotional item must also be returned to avoid a reduction in your refund.
3. Reason for a Return: A reason for the return must be provided. Detailed information regarding the issue can help expedite the return process and ensure proper handling.
4. Shipping and Handling: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on the part of the company, such as a defective or incorrect item. Orders must be returned securely packaged in a proper shipping box. It is recommended to use a trackable shipping method to ensure the return is received.
Once the order has been received by us, a thorough inspection of all item(s) will occur. If no discrepancies are found, the refund or in-store credit will be issued.

Undelivered or Refused Orders
Orders that are refused at delivery or shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer will be refunded if they are returned to us and no contact is made by the customer wishing to have the order reshipped. In such cases, the original shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
Custom, Limited Edition, or High-Value Items
Any Limited Edition or High-Value items are subject to a 5% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund in accordance with our Return Policy.
Excessive Returns
Excessive returns are strongly discouraged, and as a small business, these orders will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Warranty and Repairs
For any warranty and repairs, depending on the brand of the item(s) which you ordered, you will be referred to contact that specific brand/company. Certainly, we will do our best to assist in any way we can.
