Returns and Refunds, Warranty and Repairs


Return of items from C. Risner Cutlery may ONLY be accepted through following the instructions below. 

Returns are easy, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 10 days of invoice for full in-store credit or 80% refund.

The item(s) must be not used in any way which includes sharpening, scratches on the blade(s), handles, bolsters, backspring, etc. 

Returned item(s) must include all packaged contents that were received with the original order. Contents can include but are not limited to the correct protective container (tube, box), wax paper undamaged and any accessories.

Once the order has been received by us, a thorough inspection of all item(s) will occur. If no discrepancies are found, the in-store credit or refund will be issued.

We do not issue return labels and do not cover returned shipping fees.

Refunds and Restocking Fees

We do not like charging a restocking fee. C. Risner Cutlery has an excellent return policy. If you don't like an item(s) for any reason, you can return it for 100% store credit and/or pick out another item(s).

We will give you 100% of the cost of the knife back in-store credit, even if we originally shipped the item(s) for free. Regardless of the reason, we will give you full store credit.

If you decline our generous in-store credit option and insist that we issue a refund, that will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. And as distasteful as that is to us, we do that to control our costs, keep our prices competitive and continue to live up to the values of our business.

Cancellation Fees

All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. During this process we incur irreversible fees. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be cancelled sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:

If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will be assessed a 15% cancellation fee before credit is issued.

If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our Return or Refund policies and procedures. The cancellation will have to be treated as a Return with all applicable fees.

Orders which are REFUSED AT DELIVERY will be assessed all of the applicable fees listed above - including restocking, cancellation and other applicable fees.

Warranty and Repairs

For any warranty and repairs, depending on the brand of the item(s) which you ordered, you will be referred to contact the company which makes that brand.
