Returns

Return of items from C. Risner Cutlery will ONLY be accepted based on the following criteria:

1. Return Timeframe: Returns are easy, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, the return must be initiated within 14 days of the invoice for full in-store credit or subject to a 10% restocking fee resulting in a 90% refund to your original form of payment. The original shipping charge from when you purchased the item will not be refunded. 

2. Condition of Product: The product must be returned in its original condition, including ALL packaging, accessories, and documentation. The item(s) must not be used in any way which includes sharpening, scratches on the blade(s), handles, bolsters, backspring, etc. Any signs of use, damage, or alteration may disqualify the return. It is crucial that the product is not tampered with and remains in a resalable condition.

3. Reason for a Return: A valid reason for the return must be provided, such as a defect, incorrect item received, or dissatisfaction with the product. Detailed information regarding the issue can help expedite the return process and ensure proper handling.

4. Shipping and Handling: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on the part of the company, such as a defective or incorrect item. It is recommended to use a trackable shipping method to ensure the return is received.

Once the order has been received by us, a thorough inspection of all item(s) will occur. If no discrepancies are found, the in-store credit or refund will be issued.

Cancellation Fees

All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. During this process we incur irreversible fees. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be cancelled sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:

If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will be assessed a 10% cancellation fee before credit is issued.

If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our Return or Refund policies and procedures. The cancellation will have to be treated as a Return with all applicable fees.

Orders which are REFUSED AT DELIVERY will be assessed all of the applicable fees listed above - including restocking, cancellation and other applicable fees.

Warranty and Repairs

For any warranty and repairs, depending on the brand of the item(s) which you ordered, you will be referred to contact that specific brand/company.
