This is the second Appalachian Ridgerunner in my collection, and it's my new favourite carry. The dark matter carbon fibre pieces do look incredible however you can't beat the feeling of the jigged ti in hand. It is premium. The Ridgerunner is beastly and satisfies the need to carry a full-size knife. And given the size, that snap from half stop to close has recoil and brings a smile to my face every single time. Thank you TPK & Austin for doing what you do!
It’s big, beautiful and perfect. Fit and finish/ walk and talk are top tier. My first C. Risner and definitely not my last. Thanks Austin!
Would love to see a 2 blade version
Knife performs as advertised
Great ergos, feels very good in the hand. Has the size and balance of a fixed blade, which is a good thing. The blade’s broad nail-nicks, one on each side, are broad and placed along the blade to give max leverage for the pull. They provide a lot of grippy real-estate for pinch-opening the blade. This slip joint is a pleasure to open and close, with solid “snick” walk and talk and a 7/10 pull-strength. This is definitely going in my EDC rotation!
