This is not my first purchase of a "2nd" from TPK. Austin and Brian scrutinize their knives in a way such that their "2nds" are extremely difficult to find the flaws. The C Risner knives in particular, are unique, modern and very high quality. Those guys are Crushing It and the products they are producing are worthy of the highest praise! I've been collecting over 50 yrs and the quality, price, and delivery time are second to none...Additionally, Austin responds to his emails timely and regularly and that means a lot. My only regret is discovering this Gem of an outfit this late. I just noticed today that TPK is VET Owned and being a VET myself I am Proud to support! Thank You Austin, Brian, NFG, and the rest of the Team! You got a custumer for life!

Knives were packaged neatly and sticker packs were a great addition. Will definitely be making additional purchases very soon.
When I received the knife I was kind of surprised that it was a second. The things I found were a very small crack on one scale, slightly mismatched scales and one of the screws holding the scale screwed in too far. The scales being mismatched gives the knife character. Being a former quality inspector made me think about buying seconds but I was glad I did when I saw the knife. The blade bucks were also very nice because I saved an additional $30 so I got a nice knife for a really good price. From what I’ve seen of the seconds I would definitely buy another one.
Great value for a beauty and the reason for the second was mildly noticeable and doesn’t bother me nor affect performance at all.
For a smaller knife it is very sturdy, scales black buffalo horn are beautiful, blade came very sharp out of the box, 154 CM steel is nicely polished, 8-10 opening-closing adds to the solid feeling of this knife
