RoseCraft Blades Hatchie River Jack Light Brown Micarta (RCT033-LBM)

Nice take on a Lanny’s clip. I like the size and how it feels in hand.

Hefty and well made. Absolutely perfect in my opinion.

As a collector, I’m very selective of my purchases and will be purchasing more, rose craft blades in the future

I ordered the Hatchie river jack because I am a fan of the Lanny’s clip. The first one that I received was extremely tight in the pivot and after cleaning it out the action became stiffer to the point of not closing. I got in touch with Austin at TPK and told him my concerns and he said this is an issue with some of the newer Rosecraft designs with the pivot being too tight.
He then offered to send out a different knife and the one he sent was a very nice example of the quality that I have seen in the other Rosecraft knives thatI have. Excellent customer service made this review 5 stars.

The Hachie River Jack is made to get work done. It is a good sized knife with great looking and good feeling handle covers. The blade is big enough at that perfect 7" length to get most jobs done. I have been enjoying using it for food prep, especially with the stainless steel. The fit and finish is perfect. Thanks for another banger, RoseCraft.
