I purchased this knife after watching several reviews. The abalone on this knife really caught my eye. I haven’t been a big fan in the past. The knife was shipped and received quickly and when I opened it I was floored. This knife is more beautiful in person that in photos. The fit and finish were excellent and the blade was hair popping sharp. The pull is a little stiffer than I’m used to but the blade is big enough that you can thumb grip it so it’s not that bad. The spear/drop point is great and for me much more versatile than a cleaver. It have been in my pocket daily since arriving and I don’t see it leaving anytime soon!

Good walk and talk, nice workmanship. The abalone is beautiful but on one side there is a line between two different pieces to make the scale and it’s very visible and detracts from the aesthetics of the knife. Thus the 4 star review.
