Great folder

Excellent quality build, sharp out of the box, and cuts real nice. Really love the texture of the micarta. Looking forward to putting this ORJ through its paces.

Great Value

When TPK announced this knife and gave the specs I thought it would be 200 bucks easy but Austin and the OEM he chose knocked this out of the park with bang for buck on this knife. The action, fit, and finish are excellent and the knife is robust enough to stand up to everyday tasks. The back spring is stout and I have no fears on the knife snapping shut, the stop pin also gives it a satisfying closing sound. Great attention was given to many aspects of this knife including the back spring being flush at the half stop which is a very nice touch. For the price you cannot go wrong with this knife and I look forward to see what comes next.

Outstanding in every way

I have already reviewed the jigged Ti version of the Ohio River Jack and this micarta version is equally exceptional in design by Austin and execution by QSP. After a weekend of carry and use the micarta is already breaking in – this is the good micarta not the overly smooth kind found on some knives. The big wide spear point blade is superbly done. The ORJ sets a new standard for the category of modern slipjoints – the size and materials are what’s needed to be usable, while the quality and craftsmanship show that old fashioned pride was taken in designing and making the knife. Highly recommended – you won’t be disappointed in any knife in this series.

A flawless knife!

I've been a knife maker and collector for over 40yrs and I'm finicky about the details. When I received my Ohio River Jack in natural micarta I went over every last little detail and then did it again and this knife is absolutely flawless in every way! ...Way to go Austin!
