This is my second Ohio River Jack. It arrived with the same awesome construction, fit, finish, and amazing quality materials as the first. My other Ohio River Jack is jigged titanium with the sheepsfoot blade. I was so impressed when it arrived I bought a second knife in a different blade and scale variation the same day. These are outstanding knifes. The micarta version weighs about 20% less than the titanium and it is a surprisingly light knife in the hand. I think the light feel and handling also has to do with the excellent design. These knifes are designed to be used and that is obvious as soon as you get one in hand. The blade grind is perfect and both knifes arrived extremely sharp. Buy one before they are all gone!
Great knife. First slip joint I have owned in a while. It fits perfectly in the small pocket on my pants and will handle all of the light use things I can throw at it.
They ORJ checks all the boxes for me. Fit and finish are better than anything I have seen at this price point. Beefy in the hand yet slim in the pocket. Substantial knife to get work done with. I will be buying more ORJ knives.
When I saw the knife online I thought it was a lot like another knife I had from an Italian manufacturer. Far and away better. Great knife! Service is great. Never been there, but Austin feels like a friend.
I love the simple design, great materials and solid execution of the build. This has been in my pocket every day since I received it. I don't have any heavy usage but I believe the blade would be adequate and it's thin edge makes it great for light work like cutting small pills in half for my little 16 you dog.
