The workmanship on the Ohio River Jack is excellent, the materials, fit and finish could not be better. The action is tight, the blade snaps at the stops perfectly. The knife is beautiful, but as my grandfather told me,”a tool is only beautiful if used”. This knife is meant to be used.
I love this modern take on a traditional slipjoint. Nice and hefty in hand yet light. Though I wish it had other handle materials other than macarta.
LOVE everything about this knife. It “screams” quality. Love the fit and finish and the feel in my hand. The walk and talk is superb. This is one fine example of quality. (Like it so much, I’ve ordered another in the black micarta)
Very well made and perfect design and a very good price love it
I've been using this knife for many thing; camping chores, fire sticks, food use, breaking down boxes, cutting leather.... Wasn't sure at first of the chubby design, but that's what makes it so comfortable to hold and do a variety of cutting. With medium large hands, I can get all fingers on for a good grip and the micarta handle allows for non slip. Finally, the harder pull makes it very safe when using with no fear of closing on my hand. Because of its simple design, good looks, relatively thin blade, sharpness, and comfort, it has not left my pocket since I got it.
