Top Quality

Fit and finish is spot on, no gaps, excellent walk and talk. Really pleased with the traditional look and blade designs. Better than several customs.

Just awesome

Love this knife. Allows me to have a blade on hand for food prep (cutting fruit for my son, etc) while also having another edge for utility (cutting boxes and threads) without having to worry about cross contamination. Excellent size, fits well in the hand (full grip). Nice clean design, goes with anything. Austin knocked it out of the park with this one. Great job.

Great fit and finish to this knife. Hefty and very sharp out of the box. Austin did a great job with the design of this one. Looking forward to future products.

Slipjoint heavyweight

The Ohio River Jack Double Blade Natural Canvas Micarta is a great knife. The fit and finish were outstanding - both blades were centered, the metal/micarta interfaces were perfectly matched, and the finish was perfect on all surfaces. The half-stop on both blades was solid. The blades themselves come in two useful shapes - spearpoint and Wharncliffe, and the stock is relatively thick (for a pocket knife) and the blades were sharp out of the box. Because of the width of the blades, as well as their thick stock, the ORJ double blade knife has a heavy, solid feel to it, both in your hand and your pocket. Compared to Lionsteel's BestMan knives, which these resemble to some degree, the ORJ double blade is much more robust. Think of the Lionsteel knives as Italian sportscars and the ORJ double blade as a solid workhorse like a Midwestern Ford F-150 truck.

My New Favorite Modern Traditional

Austin really knocked it out of the park with his first design and execution. Fit and finish is absolutely flawless (of course), blades have great walk and talk and slice with ease, and I just have never felt such a beefy traditional knife in hand quite like this one. It's the one my chunky hands have been waiting for! I sat it next to my full titanium Hinderer XM-24 and it is slightly thicker than that beast, so it really fills my hand perfectly during use and is a pleasure to put to work. As a lifelong Ohioan and longtime knife collector, I am proud to own this first release from TPK... keep up the great work!
