Knife itself is immaculate but all I'll say is it's a stark reminder why I don't choose natural materials like abalone more often. It's a 50/50 gamble.

I have been very impressed by the fit and finish of this knife . It is comparable to the best cutlery made by leading American manufacturers . Be forewarned however , it has a VERY stout backspring . I have been a long time customer of C. Risner Cutlery , and these knives carry on a proud tradition .
This knife looks great and works great, fantastic traditional folder. Oddly enough I have a weak spot for abalone or mother of pearl and they nailed it on this knife. The walk and talk are crisp and cutting edge is great out of the box.
