The Finch Model 1929 is a great little knife. The fit and finish is what you would expect from Finch… it’s right and tight! I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like this blade shape.
PROs
- Thin "slicey" blade, good shape & less menacing look
- Gentleman's carry, classy scales, short blade form + milled pocket clip
- Finch always nails their flipper/action and this blade flies out every time
CONs:
- Smaller knife, so those with larger hands who don't want a 3-finger grip and wanted a larger purchase should size-up to a larger option
This is one of my favorite Finch knives. The fit and finish is perfect and it is one of my smoothest flippers. I will probably pick up another 1929 if they continue to be available.
A great design by Finch with flawless execution by the manufacturer. The quality is in the details. All the corners are softened, the action is great, and the blade is nicely finished with a sort of slightly polished satin finish and very sharp. The titanium pocket clip is a great upgrade, it clips well and is subtle, but is also low profile for in the pocket carry when you might want to do that. And of course the service from TPK is outstanding.
Love this knife. Quality is awesome and I enjoyed purchasing it through your site. If you get a ox bone holiday in stock, I would love to have one. Thank you so much again.
