Great edc knife

I really like the design and action on the knife. The traditional meets modern concept appeals to me. I enjoy using the knife and it meets most of my edc needs.

Sweet knife 1929

This is my first Finch. Great quality, smooth action, very sharp from the factory. Also my first modern traditional knife, looking forward to the release of Lucky 13 and Cherry Bomb. C. Reisner great also. Nicely packed and arrived quickly. Like the stickers they included.

Another winner 4 Finch

First and foremost I'm a Finch fan. (full disclosure 😉)
The 1929 hits all the marks for me as a great little EDC, I generally carry it as a secondary but with its blade shape it is up to most average tasks.
Love the fit and finish, all of the corners are well chamfered, micarta fits smoothly against the bolster. And as with all of the Finch models the action is beautiful. Bolster lock is easily moved aside for closure. Deployment is sharp and crisp with great jimping on flipper tab.
One lil thing to consider,,,, if your like Bugout weight knives,, this is proportionately somewhat heavier so might want to read specs.
I personally like the blade steel, no it's not a "super steel" but 154CM hold up great for me and more importantly I can freehand sharpen it including polish/strope in about 40 minutes. This was my first 1929 but certainly will get a couple more to go with my Runtly's, Holliday's & Cimorron.

1929 finch denim

smooth action and smooth scales. The Micarta could have had a little more texture to it. I'd give it a 8-10
