This Finch Holiday in ghost green G10 was the first Finch knife I ever purchased but not the last. Great action, amazing fit and finish and the wharncliffe blade is a winner. The blade came razor sharp out of the box. Thank you Traditional Pocket Knives for the great selection and fast delivery.
The order arrived quickly. Communication was great. The Finch knife was beautiful. Very easy to deal with This company. Will definitely do more business with them and trust them completely.
Nothing beats a classic. This knife is a quick deploying, smooth cutting rockstar example of a modern knife with a traditional design. Great for EDC, but I wouldn’t press it into any sort of hard use service, not because it is bad by any means, the design just lends itself to smaller tasks. Overall, love this knife.
What you should expect from a small company, not often experienced.
The Holliday is a fine design exercise, like my Devil's Finger. I might wish the folks in Kansas found an even better manufacturer than QSP, but they do fine. $150, shipped, is market appropriate.
Again, the design sets Finch knives in a class of their own.
If you admire the hi res images, you will love it in the hand. The modest heft of the lightened stainless liners, bolsters. Joints and finish is top notch. The action is less snickety than some, but it is nice and figity. My Kizer Grazioso might be too snickity, such that I'm always checking for pivot play. The 154cm was exotic in 1965 (actually developed for making turbines because it's stable in extreme temperature) keeps an excellent edge. It's one of my favorite steels.
I will turn to TPK every time I have the disposable $ to gratify my this lust, called a hobby.
This is my 2nd Finch knife and I love my Holliday in ghost green! The steel bolsters add some extra weight to the knife which I like and it is smooth as butter. I will be ordering from Traditional Pocket Knives a lot more in the future.
