Hot

She’s hot. She’s thicc. She’s sharp. She’s $200 and could’ve had a bit better finish on the mother of pearl. I can push the edges of the panels flush with the metal handle but they rise up again because it’s not level or something. It’s like .25-.5 mm gaps. Super small and you can’t see it but you can feel it’s not smooth. Real talk it’s so fun to flip! If you want a style piece that could also have real function, this may be for you.

Great Knife!

If you like Elephant tooth/Sunfish style knives and also like great flipper action in a knife, Finch Buffalo Tooth is it! Only thing I want is future releases of this knife with more handle scale options. The Mother of Pearl looked the best to me, so that's what I got, but other options like some patterned micarta or layered g-10....OH BOY!

Unique Pattern, Beautiful Scales, Great Quality

I started a tradition where I buy new Finches and send my brother one as soon as they come out. The Buffalo Tooth was the most expensive one I've ever bought, but I think it's worth the extra money. It's a lot of knife, and there is a lot of mother of pearl needed to cover the large scales. It looks just as good in person as it did in the professional pictures. I was also surprised at how fast such a big blade "flicked". The whole knife is quality, good looks, good action and a sharp blade. I was also as impressed as always by C. Risner Cutlery getting my knife to Rochester, NY and my brother's to Tucson, AZ in two days.
