Over the last few years I have had the pleasure of working with a leather maker/designer in Oregon. These slips are perfect in every way. The leather is a vegetable tanned leather which won`t hold moisture and does not contain any harmful chemicals. Therefor, the knives will be protected from corrosion or damage. Overtime, the leather will stretch to fit any knife. With this knife slip, you can either squeeze or push to have the knife ready for use!
Using an exclusive blend of waxes, oils and tallows, the leather company hot stuff these leathers to bring out their inherent beauty. Through a traditional process called jack glazing, oils are brought to the surface to create a glossy finish that never mask the leather’s natural grain. As a result, Traditional Harness leather is ideal for equestrian gear, yet, when split to a lower weight, it’s equally suitable for leather goods.
Just a very good slip. Bought it with the QSP Hedgehog Dark Matter Glow that I also bought from them and it fits perfectly. Now, it ain't that big of a problem for me and probably won't happen with yours but mine has like a long slice across the back of it going all the way across towards the top like not super deep at all but it's there. With a razor blade maybe. Idk. Do I care that much? No. Still 5 stars. It looks good and it works. Get you one. One suggestion would be to maybe make slips without your logo on them too. This one has your knife in it so it's perfect but ya know, I've gotten custom slips elsewhere for other knives(when I could be buying more from you) because I don't need your logo or name on every slip I own. Just my opinion. Don't take it the wrong way. Thanks! BUT if you need a slip, it don't get much better than this.
I have a unique slip joint with silver bolsters and dark covers and this "tuxedo" slip is the perfect complement to it. I think I have 8 of these small slips now, and 3 or 4 large ones (the 5.5"), and they are all super quality. The only color they _don't _ have is a red or dark red, which I would buy in a second to go with Case dark red jigged bone covers. Anyway, pick your knife then look through this great selection of TPK slips and I'm sure you'll find one to match. Compare the value to what a comparable slip made online would cost, and you can see they are very fairly priced.
