Over the last few years I have had the pleasure of working with a leather maker/designer in Oregon. These slips are perfect in every way. The leather is a vegetable tanned leather which won`t hold moisture and does not contain any harmful chemicals. Therefore, the knives will be protected from corrosion or damage. Overtime, the leather will stretch to fit any knife. With this knife slip, you can either squeeze or push to have the knife ready for use!

Using an exclusive blend of waxes, oils and tallows, the leather company hot stuff these leathers to bring out their inherent beauty. Through a traditional process called jack glazing, oils are brought to the surface to create a glossy finish that never mask the leather’s natural grain. As a result, Traditional Harness leather is ideal for equestrian gear, yet, when split to a lower weight, it’s equally suitable for leather goods.

Love TPK's Knife Slips!

I purchased two of the Patriot Blue slips and I now keep my Lake Champlain Barlow knives in these. I have about 10 TPK slips in black, brown, 80s and now Patriot Blue. The TPK slips are very well made high quality slips that are definitely worth the price. I recommend the Patriot Blue or any other color that you are interested in - you will not be disappointed. Great customer service by Austin as always!

EDC Gear with Style

I'm a fan of these C. Risner pocket slips and this one in red, white, and blue marks my fourth. The body of the slip is a deep Colonial Blue with a great smoky, slate quality to it. The color of the stitching stands out nicely, if you're looking for it, otherwise it just adds a splash of color to the background that works and works well. My Case single-blade, spear-point Roger's Corn Cob Barlow in jigged blue bone looks fantastic in this slip, as do some of the offerings from Rough Ryder's Black & Blue series (especially their Sunfish/Elephant's Toe pattern). It also fits my Northwoods Heritage Jack in jigged blue bone like it was made for it.
