Such an awesome knife !
I like slip joints, but only carry them as a backup to my fixed blade. They are too small for EDC and the materials used are “old school” to put it nicely. This knife changes that, the size and materials used make this an infinite workhorse. The feathered titanium handles have that in hand feel that makes you want to hold it. The S90V blade steel will hold a long slicing edge and it came shaving sharp. Walk and talk is great, pull is strong 8/10. The strong pull is good for a big working slip joint, it keeps it from closing on you, don’t be scared. I put my thumb on the jimping while open and pressed as hard as I could, blade didn’t budge. Buy the large TPK slip to hold it, the brown buck buttero works great!

Fantastic EDC knife. The Appalachian Ridgerunner with jigged titanium scales and S90V steel has quickly become my everyday carry. It feels solid and confident in hand, and has excellent ergonomics. The jigged titanium provides great grip without being aggressive, and the S90V blade holds an edge exceptionally well for daily tasks like boxes and food prep. Fit and finish are amazing, with great walk and talk and a smooth, confident action. This is a high-quality knife. Thank you for coming out with this model.
