I love this modern take on the slip joint. I bought the mother of pearl version too. Not sure why they use cheap copper washers in the pivot, I would have preferred phosphor-bronze at this price point, even though I got it on a special sale. Thanks!
Simply put, I have fallen in love with these QSP knives. The Bumblebee is absolutely beautiful, a work of art and the craftsmanship is superb. I highly recommend.
Been glancing at this QSP Hedgehog for a long time. Whenever I would check out a new drop or just peruse…another quick glance. The spectacular coloring and perfect size and weight…like a magnet to a refrigerator. What held me back was: I need to pace myself when buying knives (probably like most of us) and 2) I’m not a fan of the second QSP flame logo on the blade.
A random weekend sale was too much to resist and I can confidently say I have no regrets. It’s as beautiful as the video shows and the heft of the knife is wonderful - it’s substantial and feels solid in hand. Go get one and enjoy the perfect walk and talk, best in class shipping and unreal coloring. Totally outweighs my hesitation on the logo.
