My RoseCraft Savage Creek Stag (RCT014-ST) is a beautiful traditional slip-joint pocket knife. I'm a sucker for stag handle knives and this gunstock pattern from RoseCraft Blades is a dandy addition to my collection! It is extremely well made; the craftsmanship can't be beat. The knife is topnotch, and so is C. Risner Cutlery!
The gunstock is a classic knife design and this stag version of it from RCB is special. I already had the black micarta version, but the stag takes it to the next level. As with all the RCB models the fit and finish is a step up from any other knives you’d see at this price point. The gunstock handle shape is comfortable in the hand and looks great. Get one, you won’t be disappointed!
Fit and finish is great on this Gunstock. Good walk and talk with about a 5 pull, easy enough to pinch, but decent snap opening and closing. The stag covers are well matched and not too thick. Beautiful clip blade with a generous swedge that tapers to the point, Sharp out of the box, a few strops and it's a razor!
I am so glad to see Rosecraft using these types of natural materials now!
