The Appalachian jack red barnboard jigged bone knife, along with the new dapper jigged version, is a fantastic edition to this Rosecraft model series. The red, textured appearance of the red barnboard jigging provides a warmth to this knife and pleasant feel to the handle. Great job!

Another fantastic knife from Rosecraft. Very high quality, perfect walk and talk, etc.. Some people may be put off by the pry bar on the end, but I find it useful and a welcomed feature. Of course, another home run in customer service from TPK.
Another nice one from Rosecraft. I kind of prefer larger pocket knives, and this one is about perfect for me. On the large side but still light enough that it carries just fine. Fit and finish is excellent throughout. The 14c28n blade is beautiful and arrived very sharp. The red Barnboard covers are very well done, provide an excellent grip and exude warmth and character. All those brass pins provide a nice counterpoint to the steel. A really great looking knife. As for the prying tool, It's a nice, well executed feature and it doesn't bother me in the least that it's there. Maybe I'll find a use for it. This is my sixth Rosecraft, and my fourth from C. Risner Can't say enough good about both companies. Getting to be a routine, I order a knife at 9:00am sharp on the west coast, by 9:30 it's shipped, and arrives a day early. Nice. Quality knives and excellent service.
