I have two Jack Wolf sharpshooter slipjoints, very similar to this design, so was thinking about passing on this release but am glad I didn’t. I got the micarta version with a rustic look to the handle and blade, and love it. These come with a little spacer plug so that you can remove the pocket clip if you like, and I’ve done that to other JW framelocks, but not this time. The pocket clip is really attractive and matches the bolster, so the whole knife pops. You can get these from lots of distributors, but I always buy from TPK because of their fantastic rewards program. Invest in one of these; once you effortlessly slice through something with the hollow ground S90V steel blade, you’ll be happy that you did!
