By using a unique blend of waxes, oils, and tallows, the leather company enhances these leathers through a process known as hot stuffing, bringing out their natural beauty and durability. Through jack glazing, oils are drawn to the surface, creating a rich, glossy finish that accentuates the leather’s natural grain rather than masking it. The result is Traditional Harness leather—renowned for its strength and resilience in equestrian gear, yet equally well-suited for premium leather goods when split to a lighter weight.

This slip is made from very nice thick leather, with great stitching. Fits all of the C. Risner and Jack Wolf Gateway slip joints I have tried so far. Highly recommended.
