My favorite slip joint for getting work done. It’s very ergonomic and the blade slices through everything in its path. Now that it’s broken in, it has an incredible walk and talk. The first pop to the half stop sounds so good and unlike any other slip joint.

A Barlow knife I can get behind.

I love my ORJ Wharncliffe, it’s perfect for most everything I do, but recently I wanted a Barlow type knife with more belly in the blade. Most I looked at just wouldn’t fit my hand, but the ORJ spearpoint just seemed right. I made the right call. I guess that handle just works for me, and the green micarta weathers so nice. Thanks again Austin for picking a wonderful copy to send me.

Ohio jack

At 57 years of age I was always told to carry a pocket knife! In a world of “tacticool” knives, which I have plenty it was nice to see a simple design with highest build quality that rides in your pocket not clipped to it! I got one for my 24 year old son and he loves it!

Ohio River Jack

RMy Green Micarta Ohio River Jack is a fantastic knife in it’s quality and aestetics.
This knife reminds me of older slip joints my Grandpa’s carried when I was a young boy which was 55-60 yrs ago. Great Job C. Risner Knives!

Ohio Jack? Yup, now I’m sold

When I ordered the knife, I immediately looked into the company since I have never ordered from them at the time. I learned that Austin is a very amazing human being. I’ve made 3 orders now for knives and other stuff. The Ohio River has it all. Great pull , balance and walk and talk. It’s also the only semi hard use knife that I’ve seen in its category.
