I’ve always loved every one of Austin‘s designs-And this one is no exception. The bone is absolutely beautiful. The blade is fantastic. I’m a big proponent of having extra sharp knives and I sharpen just about every knife I get right out of the box. Not these. The fit/finish is everything you would expect and more. The walk and talk lives up to the high standard that C Reisner Cutlery has established for itself. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed.
Originally I first got the Abalone one, liked it so.much and kinda wanted the buffalo horn as well. Lol. Got the black/red stitch sheath with it. I carry often rotating between the 2.

I'm loving the black buffalo horn. All dressed up in polished black is a classy look. But there's depth here too, and when you catch the sunlight, you can see some lighter, almost white striations running the length of the covers. It's an awesome little carry that compliments the beastly Appalachian Ridgerunner. The hits keep coming from C.Risner! Thanks Austin & Team.

This is my second Risner jack knife and it does not disappoint. I collect traditional knives but like modern folders as well. This is the perfect combo. The buffalo horn scales are awesome. Blade steel and grind are very nice. Quality control is top notch. Blade centering and action is outstanding. Love that snap.
