Great size on this one from Rosecraft. I like the congress pattern but am more of a fan of single blades so when this one came up I was excited. The maple burl has nice character and this model has all of the hallmarks of a high value slipjoint from Rosecraft Blades.
So I thought I was over Wharncliffe knives but this one talked to me the burlwood did its part. This is my favorite rosecraft so far.
Another excellent release from RoseCraft Blades. The knife I received features beautifully figured burlwood covers, each unique yet perfectly matched for a balanced look. Out of the box, the edge was razor sharp, and the Wharncliffe blade has proven to be both versatile and practical for everyday carry. It carries small enough to disappear in the pocket, yet it feels substantial in hand and capable of real work. RoseCraft and Andy continue to impress.
I also purchased the same knife, but with the green micarta handles. See that review. This large Congress knife looks GREAT with the Burlwood handles. Smooth opening and closing...exceptionally sharp right out of the box. This will be in EDC rotation with my other knives. I echo everything I stated in my review on the green micarta Congress.
this is a great watchpocket carry-if you love a wharncliffe this is perfect. Slim and sharp as it gets, a great value and a great looking knifewith wood covers that will age nicely. Mine's already darkening in just a week of carrying.
