I had heard good things about the sowbelly and I really want to check out the bourbon bone color. So I was pleased I was still able to get this exclusive sowbelly color at C. Risner. Service was excellent - I got the product quickly and well packaged, Love the knife. Overall a very good experience .
Typical RoseCraft quality fit & finish in a single blade sowbelly jack pattern. The primary reason I purchased it was for the awesome Bourbon Bone. I tend to prefer 4" + patterns and was expecting it to feel smaller in the hand and less useful to me than a larger pattern but am very happy with this knife. Fast shipping and excellent communication for C Risner as expected.
I’ve only recently been bitten by that bug to collect all 4 suits of cards as RCB inlays and discovered that diamonds and spades were plentiful but only 1 heart and 2 clubs were ever produced (?).
Therefore, this club inlay was a required buy and available in that beautiful TPK bourbon bone: win-win! I already had and love the Sowbelly in stag so I now have a pair of aces but still short a heart as the only one I’ve seen is the sold out Tuckahoe Jack which I somehow missed due to not having ‘that suits bug’ when it was released. 🤣 Another RCB/TPK beauty!
This is another excellent offering from RoseCraft Blades and the TPK exclusive bourbon bone is gorgeous. My example has so much more depth than pictures and video seem to capture.
And the TPK team is always quick to ship.
I was unaware of the existence of this knife until I just happened to be searching the TPK website. I am so glad that I stumbled onto thus one. High quality, and one great edc. Thank you TDK!
