Razor sharp Magnacut + unique Ti jigged wins

Other than the S90V Jack Wolf knives, this NotoriousEDC was beyond my usual price point for a slipjoint, but was worth the price of admission. Nice pull, razor sharp Magnacut steel in a useful blade profile, and a comfortably contoured titanium handle _with_ a lanyard hole, and finally some of the most unique Ti jigging I’ve seen. Not to mention it’s made by Reate which is an immediate quality bonus.

Super light and sharp is a great combination. I made a black leather lanyard for it, then in lieu of the just OK brown leather slip (very similar to the standard JW brown cowhide slips) I paired it with one of the new upgraded TPK Buttero slips, the coffee bean brown with black stitching, which is another great combination that looks fantastic and carries well. The thicker leather on those slips will hold any knife securely, and resists over molding to the knife better. (You can still wet mold it to anything if you want, but it’s not as immediately conforming which I like, as it allows you to move knives between slips more easily.) I believe this NotoriousEDC Kingpin is currently out of stock, but hopefully TPK will be getting more soon, so grab one if you can.
