Kentucky Holler Jack: Abalone - Spearpoint 154CM

This is a great little knife with value, refinement, and beauty. The clip point blade is nearly a spear point and matches my sensibilities in blade shape [I prefer slighter clip points rather than the very deep bowie-style clip point shapes]. The grind comes to a nice edge that is sharp from the get go. The polished bolsters and end caps are a great mixture of beauty, strength, and value. The star of show in the abalone resin covers provide wonderful depth and color. A solid slip is a must both for easy and protective carry plus the flourish of bringing it out for a cut. A wonderful addition to the C. Risner brand lineup.

I got the abalone which is beautiful. Great walk and talk and easy to pinch.

This knife is everything I want out of a small slipjoint. The design by Austin is fantastic. The handle's proportions are spot on, the blade shape and grind is flawless, and QSPs newly improved manufacturing techniques make this a knife that will last forever. This will be in my fifth pocket for years if not decades to come.
