I am very much enjoying this knife. I believe Ebony wood has always given a knife a sharp appearance. As expected, the fit & finish of the knife is excellent. My only wish is that the knife was a little longer.
Went with my go-to dealer, C. Risner Cutlery to purchase two JWK Eureka Ebony as soon as they dropped and thevEnony is THE variant of this new model to have in my collection. Beautiful, high quality, inexpensive JWK Gateway series model with excellent weight and feel and really like the shape of the blade which is very similar to the blade of the JWK Gateway Equal End. A MUST have JWK to add to your collection. I buy one to carry and one to collect of each JWK Gateway model when they drop.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd have to give this knife a 10.
I’m not usually a big ebony wood fan, but this has some nice grain. I had originally opted for just the TPK exclusive jigged red bone as well as the distinctive orange micarta Eureka’s but watched the close up video of the ebony version and was sold. BTW, this is just the thing for one of the newer TPK chocolate fudge or mocha / walnut brown Buttero slips, and makes for a very attractive package. The knife itself is an excellent design and very comfortable in the hand. This is one of the better recent Gateway designs from Jack Wolf.
