This piece was purchased as a Christmas gift. But, the look and feel appears to be A+.
First, in full disclosure I own a “few” GEC’s…almost every one is a 5/5 on the scale…a couple have actions that are more lack luster…but are still a 4/5…the French Creek Trapper is a 5.5/5! Perfect action…more like a Sheffield knife…blade centering and hone is perfect. The bone scales top off a near perfect knife…one of my two most favorite GEC knives already…thanks to Austin and the Risner team…perfect customer service as always.
