By using a unique blend of waxes, oils, and tallows, the leather company enhances these leathers through a process known as hot stuffing, bringing out their natural beauty and durability. Recently picked up this small buck brown buttero leather slip from C. Risner Cutlery, as well as a few others in diferent sizes and various colors. This one in buck brown buttero leather safely secures my GEC 541225 Jumbo Stockpen inside it, protecting my knife in pocket from spare change and key scratches. This well stitched and designed slip secures my knife snugly and all that it tales to release the knife into my receiving hand is to invert the slip and give it a slight squeeze. All in all, very pleased with the quality and design of these slips.
I love this slip. It is very soft and easy to remove knife from slip. It required no break in.
