I know this SFO was less popular than other #94 patterns, but it shouldn't me. The red bone is handsome on this pattern, and the C Risner blade stamp looks classic. The knife I got was the usual GEC perfection. Blade dead center, great walk and talk, beautiful finishes on all surfaces, stellar fit and finish. Another beautiful and unique knife from TPK.
This is my first GEC. I have several modern slip joints and some very old, not great quality traditionals. This GEC is wonderful. It’s small without being too small. It works well in situations where people are less knife friendly. The fit and finish on the brass and covers is excellent. Pull is not super heavy but the walk and talk is satisfying. I’ve had it in my pocket since I got it!
