QSP Hawk Knife QS131-T Copper Foil Carbon Fiber S35VN Steel

I was looking to buy a penguin and I saw the hawk 1/2 off. The copper foil carbon fiber scales are really good looking! But what steered me to the hawk was the CPM S35vn steel. I’ve had nothing but great results using this steel and the price wow! I usually clean the oil that it’s shipped in and I used gunny oil. But it slowed the way it performed so I cleaned that and used a thinner more refined oil and immediately this blade shot open. I cut several huge boxes because we have grandchildren now and everything comes in a large box. After that it cut but not as well. All I did was strop it and it was back to perfection.
It feels like you have a solid knife while using it. It’s dependable and stays sharp!

It's a beauty, very pleasing to the eyes. Good feeling handle. Sharp blade. Good action now that I took it apart and cleaned and relubed it. The action will get smoother with use. The only complaint I have is the lock release is uncomfortable on my thumb. I wish it wasn't so hard. Maybe that will ease with use.

This knife is amazing imo. I picked up this and another QSP from this sale. At those prices and quality, it was a no brainer. Thanks TPK’s and QSP.

It’s hefty and strong, well built, and awesome. The blade is robust and capable. The action is superb and I can’t stop flicking it open. I’m very glad I decided to order this knife.
