Finch Model 1934 Burlwood

To start with I'm a Finch fan, collecter and user.
The 1934 checks all the boxes for me. Excellent design and excellent fit and finish.
On the design; I love the amount of belly on the clip point blade. Great overall size allowing for a snug but full purchase. My Burlwood scales have great figure but that'll obviously vary from knife to knife and they are nearly seamless to the bolster. It arrived perfectly centered, damn sharp and a perfectly tuned detent.
The nail nick harkins back to their traditional design. I just really enjoy the styles in general.
The 1934 might displace my Holliday for a few days.
My final atta-boy goes to Traditional Pocket Knives who's always first to release the latest Finch Knives, they ARE my GO-TO.

Classic style with modern high end materials and a pocket clip. It solves all the issues with the classic lock back that it emulates. Definitely worth picking up in my opinion.

Finch has knocked it out of the park with this take on the classic 110 pattern. As with all finch knives I’ve had in the past, fit/finish and deployment is fantastic. My only gripe, and this was probably just my bad luck, was that the burl was just not…. burly. I have more patterning on a snake wood 1929. Maybe I’ll get luckier on the next purchase!
